After removing the battery, replace it with a new 3 volt coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is pointing to the opening on the fob, and that the -" negative side is facing toward the rubber buttons.

After you've done this, place the fob on the driver's side in your car and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is functioning properly your car should start to turn on the parking lights, and the doors will lock automatically.
